Definition Of A DSLR Camera
Do you want information about how a DSLR camera works? Read this write-up and learn to find what is the best digital slr camera.
A digital SLR camera looks like any normal big digital camera but it’s different in the manner in which it is used. One differentiating feature that stands out is that of clarity without distortion i.e. the user is able to see the image he or she is about to take without being altered by anything within the camera.
This makes the quality of the picture very good as there is less “noise” to spoil the image. This is what you need to understand, when you use a normal digital camera the image you see through the lens is not the original one as it becomes digitally generated so it can be projected on the viewfinder that is to say the lens captures the image and sends it to your eyepiece or LCD through “wires” fitted inside the camera while in DSLRs there are no electronic components involved but simply lenses and prisms that project the image to the viewfinder.
Well, this is an over simplification of the explanation but in essence this is how it works. Yes there is more below but now you can go online to find best digital slr cameras.
Let me unpack this explanation a bit more, the light goes through the lens as we all know. Once the light enters the camera it hits a mirror, which reflects it to a condenser lens. The lens then sends it to a 5 sided prism that diverts it to the user’s eye in the eye piece. When the photographer takes the picturethe mirror inside will shift or rather will swing upwards so that the light can hit the image sensor.
After all that I hope you can now understand what I meant by saying that you see the actual image in the viewfinder without and changes or alterations.
To go a bit deeper with this let me start by saying that the image is not exactly 100% when you look through the eyepiece. This is why it is quite important to check out the brightness and coverage features of any DSLR before you buy it. In most cases the coverage of the image is 95% but no one can ever see that the image is not 100%.
Do you feel like you are not ready to use these group of cameras?, don’t stress about it, all digital SLR cameras come with automatic settings.
